OMG! Ok, there is something to be said, for teaching oneself window and figuring out a screen reader, but sometimes you miss out on the simplest stuff!
I had no idea I could creat my own keyboard shortcuts! Going to the properties of the msn icon and creating a keyboard shortcut for it. How cool! True, I need to make sure it doesn't conflict with win-eyes or jaws, but still! A quick control-alt-m and poof msn opens. Same sort of concept for outlook or my live365 icon! Unfortunately, I couldn't get it to work to bring up my wireless box, but aw'well.
So, what else? What are other small tid-bits I might be missing out on?
Sheesh, this one was a cool thing to happen apon!
lol there are many. For example, hitting f5 wihle on alist will unselect anything, refresh the list and reflect changes you have made to files and rearrange them as well. Other interesting things are: Shift plus delete will bypass the recycle bin and erase the file permanently. f3 within a list box will bring up the search dialog from which you are able to loook for files within that same folder. You use f6 to switch between the results and the edit fields directly. You can also try the windows key plus the letter b, which will take you to the system tray instead if using windows m and then tab all the way through. control plus shift plus escape is a quicker way to get to the task manager. i am not sure of any other shortcuts or anything like that you might be missing but as soon as I stumble upon something interesting i'll let you know.
